Event background

The Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council, EPSCO Council, works to increase employment levels and improve living and working conditions, ensuring a high level of human health and consumer protection in the EU.

On 16 and 17 July, the labour and social security Ministers will meet in Luxembourg to discuss about social governance and youth employment in Europe. On the morning of the 17 July, labour Ministers together with Ministers for gender equality will hold a debate on the challenges for women and men in changing labour markets.
