The International Council for Small Business (ICSB) is organising the World Conference on Entrepreneurship 2014 in Dublin from 11-14 June 2014.
The theme of this year’s ICSB Conference is 'Entrepreneurship and Sustainability'. The event will address the current international movement towards sustainability from the point of view of our environment, cultures, businesses and economies. This is particularly important as entrepreneurs, politicians, researchers and consumers are increasingly seeking to find solutions to the challenges of growing economies and businesses that are environmentally sustainable, socially just and rooted locally.
Throughout the conference, both in the plenary and parallel sessions, there will be a large number of speakers addressing the topic from social, economic and environmental perspectives. The event will be opened by Richard Burton, Irish Minister for Enterprise and Xavier Prats Monné, Deputy Director General for Education and Training at the European Commission (DG EAC).
Irene Mandl, Research Manager in the Employment and Change Unit, will represent Eurofound. The most relevant publications will be displayed in the exhibition stand no. 8.
