The Employment Committee of the European Commission (EMCO) is an advisory committee set up to implement the European Employment Strategy and to promote coordination between Member States on employment and labour market policies. http://ec.europa.eu/social/main.jsp?catId=115
The main function of EMCO is to carry out preparatory work for the EPSCO Council in the area of employment.
