For the first time ever, Eurofound was proud to be participating in Open House Dublin by collaborating with the Irish Architecture Foundation and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. Eurofound opened its doors to the public on Saturday 14 October 2023 for free architecture-led guided tours of Loughlinstown House, its purpose-built conference centre and the exterior of the ‘new’ main building.

Another first, Open House Dublin was pleased to be part of Open House Europe, a project co-funded by the EU. In 2023, along with 12 partner cities, Open House Dublin placed a focus on sustainability within the programme, highlighting sustainable practice through building visits, opening up discussions around Dublin city as an open and accessible place to live, work and play, and inviting young people to use their imaginations to build a sustainable future.

Tours of Eurofound took place on the hour starting at 10.00 with the last tour ending at 15.00. Each tour lasted approximately 20-30 minutes.
