Findings from the EPOC survey. Employment through flexibility: squaring the circle
Foilsithe: 26 August 2012
What is the extent of direct participation? To what degree can employees influence the organisation of work or control their working environment? What are the economic and social effects? In order to answer these and other questions the Foundation undertook a postal survey of European management during the Autumn of 1996. This report is the result of the analysis of the data in the EPOC survey relating to the effects of direct participation on employment levels, and how these relate to aspects of workplace flexibility such as downsizing, part-time work or the consultation of workers, as well as to the level of product and process innovation in European enterprises.
