Abstract

Το έτος 2022 ξεκίνησε με συγκρατημένη αισιοδοξία. Η Ευρώπη εξέρχεται από τα δύο χρόνια κρίσης της πανδημίας COVID-19, και έχει θεσπίσει το σχέδιο ανάκαμψης για την Ευρώπη «NextGenerationEU» που οικοδομεί ένα ισχυρό και βιώσιμο μέλλον. Ωστόσο, η ρωσική επίθεση στην Ουκρανία στις αρχές του έτους άλλαξε δραματικά την κατάσταση, προκαλώντας νέα αναταραχή σε ολόκληρη την ήπειρο. Το Eurofound, στο πλαίσιο των εργασιών του κατά τη διάρκεια του έτους, κατέδειξε τις επιπτώσεις που έχουν το αυξανόμενο κόστος ζωής και οι λοιπές εξελίξεις λόγω πολέμου στην οικονομική και ψυχολογική ευημερία των Ευρωπαίων. Η επετηρίδα του 2022 συνοψίζει επίσης τα πορίσματα της διεξοδικής έρευνας του Οργανισμού σχετικά με τις συνθήκες εργασίας κατά τη διάρκεια της πανδημίας, τις εκθέσεις του σχετικά με τις τάσεις στην απασχόληση και τη μελέτη του σχετικά με τον πιθανό ρόλο του κοινωνικού διαλόγου στην πράσινη και την ψηφιακή μετάβαση. Η έρευνα του Eurofound για τις συνθήκες εργασίας και διαβίωσης στην Ευρώπη περιλαμβάνει στοιχεία που αποτελούν τη βάση για τη διαμόρφωση της κοινωνικής πολιτικής και την επίτευξη του οράματος του Οργανισμού «να αποτελέσει την κορυφαία πηγή γνώσης της Ευρώπης για μια καλύτερη ζωή και εργασία».
