Eurofound visit to Prague, Czech Republic, 19-20 May 2008
The visit is part of Eurofound's series of national roadshows, aimed at facilitating closer collaboration with its stakeholders and showcasing Eurofound's recent research, data and recommendations. A seminar will take place on 20 May in the afternoon which will focus on Quality of work and employment.
Workers report increasing work intensification
Four out of five workers in the Czech Republic report overall satisfaction with their working conditions, the fourth European Working Conditions Survey reveals. However, only one in four Czech workers thinks they have good career prospects and only one in three workers consider themselves well paid for the work they do, which are levels well below the EU averages.
