En respuesta a la guerra de Rusia contra Ucrania, la UE activó su Directiva de protección temporal para las personas que han huido del país, permitiendo que se establezcan en la UE y accedan a los servicios públicos básicos y al mercado laboral. En la primavera de 2023, más de 4,5 millones de personas habían recurrido a la Directiva de protección temporal o a regímenes nacionales de protección similares en la UE. En 2022, la Agencia de los Derechos Fundamentales de la Unión Europea realizó una encuesta en línea a personas desplazadas de Ucrania. Eurofound ha analizado los resultados de la encuesta sobre la experiencia a la hora de acceder al empleo. En el presente documento se destacan los principales obstáculos a los que se enfrentan las personas desplazadas y se proponen vías para facilitar su inclusión.
