Abstract

In risposta alla guerra della Russia contro l’Ucraina, l’UE ha attivato la direttiva sulla protezione temporanea per le persone fuggite dal paese, consentendo loro di stabilirsi nell’UE e di accedere ai servizi pubblici di base e al mercato del lavoro. Nella primavera del 2023 più di 4,5 milioni di persone avevano fatto ricorso alla direttiva o ad analoghi regimi di protezione nazionali nell’UE. Nel 2022 l’Agenzia dell’Unione europea per i diritti fondamentali ha condotto un’indagine online tra le persone sfollate dall’Ucraina. Eurofound ha analizzato i risultati dell’indagine sulle loro esperienze nell’accesso all’occupazione. Questo documento evidenzia le principali barriere incontrate dagli sfollati e suggerisce modi per facilitare la loro inclusione.
