Event background
This initiative takes place in the context of Eurofound’s ongoing efforts with key stakeholders at the national level to ensure widespread dissemination and dialogue on our research findings.
The rapid developments in AI and digitalisation are significantly shaping the labour market and the workplace. A key concern to policymakers is the impact of these changes on jobs and the evolving nature of work. Since 2017, Eurofound has been researching the effects of automation, digitisation and platforms on employment, working conditions and social dialogue.
This Virtual visit to Finland explored the prevalence of digital technologies and their role in the workplace, examining Finland’s position compared to other EU Member States. Experts shared case studies and examples from the Nordic areas, focusing on the adoption of AI, and fresh highlights from the European Working Conditions Survey 2024.
This event takes place in collaboration with Eurofound’s Finnish Board Members and with its correspondent in Finland.
The presentation is available for download below.
