Euroopan tietosuojasäännöt ovat tarkoitettu ihmisten voimaannuttamiseen, jotta he voivat hallita henkilökohtaisia tietojaan käytetään. Eurofoundilla otamme tämän velvollisuuden vakavasti. Tietosuoja ja yksityisyys ovat osa päivittäistä työtämme, aina viestintätoiminnasta Euroopan laajuisiin kyselyihin ja tutkimusjulkaisuihin.

Tältä sivulta löydät tietoa syistä, miksi voimme käsitellä henkilötietoja ja millaisia tietoja käsittelemme, sekä oikeuksistasi ja yhteystiedoistasi, jos sinulla on kysyttävää.

Eurofound voi käsitellä henkilötietojasi (tunnetaan myös nimellä henkilötietoja) monista syistä: julkisten tietopyyntöjen käsittelystä, kävijätiedoista, valitusten käsittelystä, kutsumisesta kokoukseen tai johonkin tutkimusprojektiimme, tai yksinkertaisesti siksi, että lähetät niitä tilatessasi julkaisuja tai tapahtumia verkkosivustollamme. Syystä riippumatta käsittely tapahtuu aina Euroopan parlamentin ja neuvoston 23. lokakuuta 2018 antaman asetuksen (EU) 2018/1725(opens in new tab)This link opens in a new tab mukaisesti.

Henkilötietojen tyypit riippuvat käsittelytarkoituksesta. Ne voivat sisältää nimesi ja yhteystietosi, ansioluettelosi ja mahdolliset vahvistavat asiakirjat (hakiessasi työtä tai harjoittelupaikkaa), ruokavalio- ja liikkumistarpeesi (osallistuessasi Eurofoundin järjestämään tapahtumaan) tai evästeiden hyväksymisen.

Tarkat henkilötietokategoriat on määritelty sovellettavassa tietosuojailmoituksessa.

Useimmissa tilanteissa Eurofound käsittelee henkilötietojasi tehtävän suorittamista varten, joka on suoritettu yleisen edun nimissä, laillisen velvoitteen noudattamiseksi tai suostumuksesi perusteella. Muut oikeudelliset perusteet saattavat kuitenkin päteä. Yksityiskohtaiset tiedot oikeudellisesta perustasta on aina annettu sovellettavassa tietosuojatiedotteessa.

Ellei erityisessä tietosuojailmoituksessa toisin mainita, henkilötietoihisi pääsy annetaan yksinomaan henkilöstöllemme, jonka tulee noudattaa lakisääteisiä salassapitovelvollisuuksia.

Jokaiselle käsittelytoiminnolle on määritelty säilytysaika, joka määrittelee henkilökohtaisten tietojen säilytyksen ajan. Käsittelystä riippuen säilytysaika voi vaihdella. Tarkka säilytysaika on määritelty sovellettavassa tietosuojailmoituksessa.

Asetus (EU) 2018/1725 antaa sinulle tiedonalaisena mahdollisuuden käyttää seuraavia oikeuksia:

Pääsy henkilötietoihisi
Sinulla on kopio henkilökohtaisista tiedoistasi
korjaa henkilötietosi, jos ne ovat virheellisiä tai puutteellisia
Poista tietosi
rajoita tietojesi käsittelyä
vastustaa datan käsittelyä
Siirrä tietosi, ja
et ole automaattisten päätösten kohteena (eli koneiden tekemiä), jotka vaikuttavat sinuun.

Näiden oikeuksien käyttäminen on vapaata. Kuitenkin, jos pyynnöt ovat ilmeisen perusteettomia tai liiallisia, Eurofound saattaa kieltäytyä toimimasta pyynnön perusteella. Jos näin on, sinulle ilmoitetaan asianmukaisesti.

Sinun tulee myös toimittaa kopio henkilöllisyystodistuksesta, esimerkiksi henkilökortista tai passista. Seuraavat tiedot tulisi näkyä: nimi, tunnistenumero, myöntämismaa, voimassaoloaika ja syntymäaika. Kaikki muut tiedot (esim. valokuva tai allekirjoitus) voidaan mustata. Käytämme näitä tietoja yksinomaan henkilöllisyytesi varmistamiseksi. Kun pyyntösi on hoidettu, tuhoamme asiakirjan turvallisesti. Periaatteessa emme hyväksy muita todisteita henkilöllisyydestäsi. Jos haluat ehdottaa vaihtoehtoja, arvioimme niiden riittävyyden tapauskohtaisesti.

Eurofoundin tietosuojavastaava (DPO) voi kenen tahansa pyynnöstä tutkia suoraan hänen tehtäviinsä liittyviä asioita ja tapahtumia. Jos haluat hyödyntää tätä tilaisuutta, lähetä pyyntösi tutkinnasta DataProtectionOfficer@eurofound.europa.eu:lle.

DPO lähettää vastaanottokuittauksen 15 työpäivän kuluessa ja tarkistaa, kuuluuko pyyntö DPO:n vastuuseen ja pidetäänkö sitä luottamuksellisena vai ei.

DPO raportoi tutkinnan suorittaneelle henkilölle viimeistään kolmen kuukauden kuluessa pyynnön vastaanottamisesta, ellei oikeuden ilmeisen väärinkäytön tapauksessa, jolloin raporttia ei tehdä. Tämä määräaika voidaan kuitenkin keskeyttää, kunnes DPO on saanut tarvittavat tiedot tutkinnan päättämiseksi.
