Eurocadres and its affiliates (CFDT Cadres, CFTC-Cadres, CGT-UGICT, FO-Cadres, UNSA and SNES-FSU) are organising a conference on the Impact of digitalisation on the work of professionals and managers in Paris on 14 October 2016.
What is the impact of the massive digitalisation of the economy for professionals and managers? The 'second machine age' is an industrial revolution which changes profoundly the way our economies work. Not only the unskilled jobs will be automated, skilled jobs will also be concerned: financial, legal and medical advice by robot-advisers, automated translations, management by remote control, all this has a profound impact on the work of professionals and managers.
In a one-day conference, Eurocadres and its affiliates want to explore this question around three round tables. The work is based on the vast programme of the EU and the ongoing debates in almost all the countries on the consequences of the massive dispatch of new work tools.
