Event background
Conference on global competition and European companies’ location decisions, Poznań, Poland, 3–5 June 2008
Venue: IBB Andersia Hotel, Plac Andersa 3, 61-894 Poznań

Conference organised by Eurofound in association with PricewaterhouseCoopers, City of Poznań, Opportunity Poland and Poznań University of Economics
The city of Poznań
Poznań is a city of over half a million inhabitants in western Poland, near the river Warta. Halfway between Berlin and Warsaw, it’s an industrial, trade and research centre but it’s also one of the main Polish cultural hubs, with an historical university. The Old City certainly deserves a visit, with its gothic cathedral and the Renaissance city council building. Poznań tourism sites: http://www.poznan.pl or http://www.wielkopolska.mw.gov.pl
