Irish Presidency High Level Conference on Vulnerable Families - What can Europe do?

This event will take place within the context of the Irish Presidency and is co‑organised by The Confederation of Family Organisations in the European Union (COFACE) and the Irish Countrywomen’s Association.
Objectives
The conference will bring together civil society organisations, researchers, policy makers and public authorities to reflect on the problems and challenges as well as to share experience and exchange ideas on solutions.
The event will focus on 4 topics:
Vulnerability due to ill health, mental health issues, disability, care
Extreme vulnerability, families outside of the reach of services
Vulnerability due to joblessness and lack of skills
Parenting support services
Eurofound contributions
Juan Menéndez-Valdés, Director of Eurofound, will deliver a keynote speech on the first day while Robert Anderson, Head of Living Conditions and Quality of Life at Eurofound, will discuss the way forward in the final plenary session on the second day. Daniel Molinuevo will make a presentation on Access to parenting services for Roma and migrant families.
