Visit of MEP Idoia Mendia

As part of Eurofound’s visitors programme, and it ongoing relationship with the European Parliament’s Employment and Social Affairs Committee (EMPL), Eurofound hosted a visit from MEP Ms Idoia Mendia, Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D) group and Member of the EMPL Committee.

Ivailo Kalfin, Executive Director, Eurofound received MEP Mendia, a Spanish Member of the European Parliament. During the visit, a number of topics were discussed:

• Eurofound’s activities and research work

• Eurofound findings on the challenges facing persons with disabilities

• Shared priorities for the new European Parliament mandate and potential areas of collaboration with the EMPL Committee, of which she is also a member.
