The Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of Slovenia is organising an international conference entitled 'How can we achieve the health and satisfaction of workers through better organisation of work and better leadership?' at the Brdo Congress Centre, Grandis conference hall, in Brdo on Monday, 13 October 2014.
Eurofound speakers include:
Oscar Vargas, Research Officer in the Working Conditions and Industrial Relations Unit, will participate in the session on work-related stress and other psychosocial risks at the workplace and give a presentation on psychosocial risks in Europe: working conditions and interventions.
Greet Vermeylen, Research Manager in the Working Conditions and Industrial Relations Unit, will join the session on work organisation and human resource management and give a presentation on workplace innovation and the role of work organisation and HRM (results of the Third European Company Survey and the Fifth European Survey on Working Conditions).
Erika Mezger, Eurofound’s Deputy Director, will participate in the round table on 'How can we achieve the health and satisfaction of workers through better organisation of work and better leadership?' with Anja Kopaĉ Mrak, Minister of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of the Republic of Slovenia, Mirando Mrsić, Minister of Labour and Pension System of the Republic of Croatia, Anna Ritzberger-Moser, Director-General of Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection of the Republic of Austria and Christa Sedlatschek, Director of European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA).
