Works councils: Workplace representation and participation structures

The aim of this report is to provide a brief overview of the regulation and practice of information, consultation and other forms of employee involvement in the EU151 Member States plus Norway. This is a comparative analysis of the information provided by the EIRO Network National Centres in September 2003 regarding national workplace regulatory frameworks on representation and participatory data (estimated where not available), and the practice and views of the social partners.
