This survey, carried out by the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions over the summer and autumn of 1998, involved 30,557 telephone assisted interviews with people aged between 16 and 64 years across the 15 EU Member States and Norway. The survey provides information on both the current situations and future preferences of those interviewed concerning employment.
