Event background
The high-level meeting on disability focused on labour market participation and the rights of children with disability.
The participants of the high-level meeting assessed progress in the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and progress towards midterm evaluation of the European Disability Strategy (2010-2020).
Anna Ludwinek, Research manager, Eurofound Living Conditions and Quality of Life unit, was a moderator in Panel discussion II (9:00 – 11:00) How to overcome barriers for successful employment? on 12 May.
