Aligning efforts: How the social partners are driving a green and just transition

The drive towards net zero emissions is gaining momentum. However, the path is a test of social fairness, and the outcome will also depend on how well the social partners work together and with others. Our research shows that some social partners are undertaking a variety of exciting initiatives but only in a small number of Member States. Joint actions by the social partners, often in cooperation with governments and other actors, show how the changes needed to implement the green transition can be managed without leaving anyone behind and how responsibility for sustainability can be shared.

Stanovanje

Dostop do cenovno dostopnih in ustreznih stanovanj je velik problem v številnih državah članicah, v njihovih mestih in regijah, ki ga še poslabšujejo krize v zadnjih letih. Ljudje, ki se soočajo s težavami s cenovno dostopnostjo stanovanj, so izpostavljeni izključenosti, negotovosti, da morajo zapustiti svoj dom, ne morejo si privoščiti drugih stvari zaradi visokih stanovanjskih stroškov in morajo ostati v stanovanjih, ki niso primerna za njihove potrebe. Z naraščajočimi življenjskimi stroški prihaja do izpostavljenosti energijski revščini za družine z nižjimi dohodki, ki si ne morejo privoščiti ustreznega ogrevanja svojih domov ali plačevanja najemnine ali hipoteke. Hkrati se brezdomstvo povečuje v veliki večini držav članic.
