European Parliament hearing with Eurofound and EU Agencies

On 24 January 2023 at 13.30-16.00 CET, the Members of the European Parliament’s Committee on Employment and Social Affairs will meet for an exchange of views with Eurofound’s Executive Director Ivailo Kalfin and the Executive Directors of the EU Agencies under the EMPL Committee’s remit: Cedefop, EU-OSHA, ETF and ELA.

Objectives

The annual exchange of views is an opportunity to look back on activities in 2022, present Eurofound’s 2023 work programme and the main activities planned, objectives and areas of expertise.

Eurofound will highlight key areas and its plans for 2023 including the ongoing analysis on the impact of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the cost-of-living crisis; the challenges of the twin transition; mental health; skills; the Child Guarantee; care; telework and the right to disconnect; adequate minimum wage; social dialogue and collective bargaining; working conditions and all aspects relating to the European Pillar of Social Rights.
