Id-dibattitu

Din is-sena, Eurofound u ċ-Ċentru Ewropew għall-Iżvilupp tat-Taħriġ Vokazzjonali (CEDEFOP)(opens in new tab)This link opens in a new tab it-tnejn jiċċelebraw il-50 anniversarju tagħhom. Il-lonġevità tal-aġenziji, u l-impatt tax-xogħol tagħhom, huma xhieda tal-importanza tar-riċerka bbażata fuq evidenza biex jadattaw għall-bidla fis-suq tax-xogħol u biex jiġu mmexxija l-iżvilupp ekonomiku.

Dak l-ispeċjalizzazzjoni u l-approċċ ibbażat fuq evidenza huma meħtieġa issa aktar minn qatt qabel biex jindirizzaw il-bidliet mgħaġġla attwali fis-suq tax-xogħol u fid-dinja tax-xogħol. It-teknoloġiji ġodda qed ikollhom impatt profond f'diversi aspetti tal-ħajja tax-xogħol tagħna. Għandhom il-potenzjal li jsaħħu l-effiċjenza, inaqqsu r-riskji, u jtejbu l-kwalità tax-xogħol. L-Ewropa trid tuża dawn biex ittejjeb il-ħajja tax-xogħol, kif ukoll biex iżżomm il-vantaġġ kompetittiv tagħha.

L-intelliġenza artifiċjali (AI) tinsab fil-quċċata ta' din il-bidla. Flimkien mal-potenzjal kbir tiegħu għall-profitt u l-progress, ippreżenta sfidi, inkluż tħassib dwar ħsara tax-xogħol għal ħaddiema b'ħiliet medji u baxxi. L-IA tbiddel kompiti u bżonnijiet ta' ħiliet madwar il-qasam u aktar trid isir biex jagħlaq id-distakk bejn il-bżonnijiet ġodda ta' għarfien u ħiliet assoċjati mal-AI u l-proporzjon baxx ta' ħaddiema li jitħarrġu għaliha. Hemm ukoll implikazzjonijiet sinifikanti tan-negozju, u l-SMEs jistgħu jitilfu kontra negozji akbar li jistgħu jinvestu aktar fl-iżvilupp u l-implimentazzjoni tal-AI.

F'dan il-webinar speċjali #Eurofound50, Mary McCaughey , Kap tal-Informazzjoni u l-Komunikazzjoni f'Eurofound, titkellem ma' Dragoș Adăscăliței, Uffiċjal tar-Riċerka ta' Eurofound, u Jasper Van Loo, Koordinatur tad-Dipartiment ta' Cedefop, dwar kif l-AI diġà qed tbiddel il-ħajja tax-xogħol fl-Ewropa, u x'għandu jsir biex jintuża l-potenzjal kbir tagħha filwaqt li jipproteġi lil dawk li jirriskjaw li jitħallew warajh.
