Μια δεκαετία χαμηλών αμοιβών: Οι εργαζόμενοι στις κοινωνικές υπηρεσίες εξακολουθούν να κερδίζουν περίπου το ένα πέμπτο λιγότερο από τον μέσο όρο
Στα 10 χρόνια από το 2014 έως το 2024, ο αριθμός των εργαζομένων στον τομέα των κοινωνικών υπηρεσιών στην ΕΕ αυξήθηκε από 8 εκατομμύρια σε 10 εκατομμύρια. Σήμερα αποτελούν το 5% του συνολικού εργατικού δυναμικού της ΕΕ. Ταυτόχρονα, ο τομέας αντιμετωπίζει ελλείψεις εργατικού δυναμικού και εξακολουθεί να χαρακτηρίζεται από χαμηλές αμοιβές – περίπου 20 % χαμηλότερες από τις μέσες αποδοχές στο σύνολο των οικονομιών των κρατών μελών.
