Eurofound work programme 2026: Supporting better policies for a strong social Europe
Ippubblikat: 7 January 2026
Building on its 50-year anniversary, Eurofound continues in 2026 to support EU decision-makers in tackling key challenges such as job quality, housing, access to care services, poverty, digitalisation and artificial intelligence. As Europe faces overlapping crises and long-term transformations, EU policies focus on competitiveness, prosperity and social fairness. This work programme outlines how Eurofound’s evidence-based research will help policymakers and social partners navigate the green, digital and demographic transitions amid ongoing geopolitical uncertainty. In the first quarter, the Agency publishes the main results of its European Working Conditions Survey 2024. It also highlights Eurofound’s role in addressing labour market pressures, job quality, social fairness and competitiveness, providing timely insights to help shape resilient, inclusive and sustainable EU policies in 2026, including during the Irish Presidency of the Council in the second half of the year.
