Abstract
I foråret 2009 iværksatte Eurofound en stor repræsentativ undersøgelse rettet mod ledere og arbejdstagerrepræsentanter. Den europæiske virksomhedsundersøgelse 2009 – fleksibilitet og social dialog, European Company Survey 2009 – Flexibility practices and social dialogue (ECS), er den anden europæiske virksomhedsundersøgelse i Eurofounds regi. Den europæiske virksomhedsundersøgelse dokumenterer virksomhedernes fleksibilitetsstrategier, og den er en unik kilde til sammenlignelige oplysninger om social dialog på arbejdspladsen. Tidligere forskning fra Eurofound har vist, at virksomhederne ikke kun anvender én fleksibilitetsstrategi, men kombinerer forskellige strategier. Som led I undersøgelsen blev der set på forskellige foranstaltninger vedrørende intern og ekstern kvantitativ og kvalitativ fleksibilitet.
