Abstract
Eurofound inledde på våren 2009 en storskalig representativ undersökning riktad till chefer och arbetstagarrepresentanter. Den europeiska företagsundersökningen 2009 – Praxis i fråga om flexibilitet samt social dialog (företagsundersökningen) är den andra arbetsplatsundersökning omfattande hela Europa som initierats av Eurofound. Den europeiska företagsundersökningen dokumenterar företags flexibilitetsstrategier och den är en unik källa till jämförande information om social dialog på arbetsplatsen. Tidigare forskning vid Eurofound har visat att företag använder olika metoder för flexibilitet, inte en enda metod utan en kombination av metoder. I undersökningen studerades olika åtgärder för intern och extern kvantitativ och kvalitativ flexibilitet.
