Cognitive testing and supplementary tests to finalise the 2026 EQLS questionnaire

This report describes the process and outcome of the different testing stages that provided the evidence needed to finalise the questionnaire of the European Quality of Life Survey (EQLS) in October 2025. The EQLS has provided comprehensive data on the different quality-of-life dimensions, including wellbeing, health, education, employment, work-life balance, material living conditions, trust and social participation.
