An díospóireacht

I mbliana, déanann Eurofound agus an Lárionad Eorpach um Fhorbairt na Gairmoiliúna (Cedefop)(opens in new tab)This link opens in a new tab ceiliúradh ar a gcomóradh 50 bliain. Is léiriú é fad saoil na ngníomhaireachtaí, agus tionchar a gcuid oibre, ar an tábhacht a bhaineann le taighde fianaisebhunaithe chun dul in oiriúint d'athrú sa mhargadh saothair agus forbairt eacnamaíoch a thiomáint.

Tá gá leis an speisialtóireacht agus an cur chuige fianaisebhunaithe sin anois níos mó ná riamh chun déileáil leis na hathruithe gasta atá ann faoi láthair ar mhargadh an tsaothair agus ar shaol na hoibre. Tá tionchar mór ag teicneolaíochtaí nua ar ghnéithe éagsúla dár saol oibre. Tá sé de chumas acu éifeachtúlacht a thiomáint, rioscaí a laghdú, agus cáilíocht an phoist a fheabhsú. Ní mór don Eoraip leas a bhaint astu chun feabhas a chur ar an saol oibre, chomh maith lena buntáiste iomaíoch a choinneáil.

Tá intleacht shaorga (AI) ar thús cadhnaíochta san athrú seo. Chomh maith lena acmhainneacht ollmhór brabúis agus dul chun cinn, tá dúshláin curtha i láthair aige, lena n-áirítear imní maidir le scriosadh post d'oibrithe meánmhéide agus ísealoilte. Athraíonn AI tascanna agus riachtanais scileanna ar fud an bhoird agus caithfear níos mó a dhéanamh chun an bhearna idir na riachtanais nua eolais agus scileanna a bhaineann le AI agus an sciar íseal d'oibrithe a oiliúint dó a dhúnadh. Tá impleachtaí suntasacha gnó ann freisin, agus d'fhéadfadh FBManna a chailleadh amach do ghnólachtaí níos mó ar féidir leo níos mó infheistíochta a dhéanamh i bhforbairt agus imscaradh AI.

Sa seimineár gréasáin speisialta #Eurofound50 seo, labhraíonn Mary McCaughey , Ceann Faisnéise agus Cumarsáide ag Eurofound, le Dragoș Adăscăliței, Oifigeach Taighde Eurofound, agus Jasper Van Loo, Comhordaitheoir Roinne Cedefop, faoin gcaoi a bhfuil AI ag athrú saol oibre san Eoraip cheana féin, agus cad is gá a dhéanamh chun leas a bhaint as a acmhainneacht ollmhór agus iad siúd a bhfuil baol ann go bhfágfar taobh thiar díobh a chosaint.
