Implications of AI for work, employment and social dialogue: Literature review

Artificial intelligence (AI) is advancing at a pace that, for many observers, recalls earlier general purpose technologies such as electricity or the computer. Recent research breakthroughs in deep learning, large language models and generative AI systems have been followed by rapid experimentation and adoption in the workplace, provoking renewed attention to their economic and social consequences by media, regulators, governments and social partners.
