Ivailo Kalfin
Ο Ivailo Kalfin εντάχθηκε στο Eurofound ως εκτελεστικός διευθυντής την 1η Ιουνίου 2021. Η εμπειρογνωμοσύνη του κ. Kalfin καλύπτει ευρύ φάσμα τομέων, από τη δυναμική της αγοράς εργασίας και της κοινωνικής πολιτικής έως τις παγκόσμιες πολιτικές τάσεις, την ΕΕ και τον προϋπολογισμό, καθώς και τον ψηφιακό μετασχηματισμό. Έχει περιγράψει πέντε βασικές προτεραιότητες για τον ρόλο του στο Eurofound: στήριξη της ενσωμάτωσης της πράσινης και της ψηφιακής μετάβασης της Ευρώπης· συμπλήρωση της εφαρμογής του σχεδίου δράσης για τον ευρωπαϊκό πυλώνα κοινωνικών δικαιωμάτων με τεκμηριωμένη έρευνα· αυξημένη συνεργασία με διεθνείς οργανισμούς και εξωτερικούς εταίρους και μεγαλύτερη προσέγγιση των χωρών της Ευρωπαϊκής Πολιτικής Γειτονίας· στήριξη για την ενίσχυση και την επέκταση των ικανοτήτων των κοινωνικών εταίρων στο πλαίσιο των αρμοδιοτήτων του Οργανισμού· ενίσχυση της προβολής του Eurofound μεταξύ των βασικών ενδιαφερόμενων μερών.

2022 in review
The dawn of 2022 brought muted optimism to a Europe beginning to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, and the progress of vaccination programmes worldwide brought hope. Government and EU support during the pandemic had kept unemployment at bay, averting the widescale collapse of businesses. In step with the EU’s plans for the year, Eurofound’s focus was firmly on a post-pandemic Europe: the recovery and the twin transition to a green and digital economy. All this changed with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the start of a war of aggression. The EU and its institutions were compelled to respond rapidly.

Europe Day: Europe’s future hangs in the balance
Today is Europe Day, and one hundred young people from Ireland and Ukraine will be marking the event at Eurofound, in peaceful south Dublin. Europe Day has traditionally been seen as a celebration of peace and unity in Europe, but, unfortunately, it must be marked differently this year. Europe Day 2022 must rather reaffirm the values of Europe: human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, rule of law and human rights. These values are now being tested daily and must be rigorously defended for the future of Europe and the future of our young people.

We need to study and understand the blow Europe’s youth have suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to adjust recovery and resilience measures to their needs: without prioritising young people in the present, we have little hope for the future.

Η Maria Jepsen είναι αναπληρώτρια διευθύντρια του Eurofound, η οποία διορίστηκε την 1η Νοεμβρίου 2019. Συντονίζει την ανάπτυξη του προγράμματος του Οργανισμού. Πριν από αυτό, ήταν διευθύντρια του ερευνητικού τμήματος στο Ευρωπαϊκό Συνδικαλιστικό Ινστιτούτο (ETUI) και επίκουρη καθηγήτρια και ερευνήτρια στο Ελεύθερο Πανεπιστήμιο των Βρυξελλών (ULB). Σήμερα είναι επίσης αναπληρώτρια καθηγήτρια στα οικονομικά της εργασίας στο ULB και εξωτερική λέκτορας στο Κολλέγιο της Ευρώπης στη Μπρυζ του Βελγίου. Τα κύρια ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα περιλαμβάνουν τις σπουδές φύλου, την επίδραση του κράτους πρόνοιας στην προσφορά εργασίας, τους μισθούς και τις συνθήκες εργασίας και την ανάπτυξη της ευρωπαϊκής κοινωνικής διάστασης. Η Anna Ludwinek είναι διευθύντρια συνδέσμου στο γραφείο διασύνδεσης του Eurofound στις Βρυξέλλες, στο οποίο εντάχθηκε το 2019. Οι αρμοδιότητές της επικεντρώνονται κυρίως στον συντονισμό των εργασιών του γραφείου των Βρυξελλών, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της σχέσης με την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή, το Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο, το Συμβούλιο και τις ομάδες προβληματισμού. Ο Robbie Stakelum είναι ο αξιωματικός σύνδεσμος των Βρυξελλών, υπεύθυνος για την Ευρωπαϊκή Οικονομική και Κοινωνική Επιτροπή, τους κοινωνικούς εταίρους και την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή. Εργάζεται στις Βρυξέλλες από το 2014 με έμφαση στις κοινωνικές πολιτικές και τις πολιτικές απασχόλησης.
