Ivailo Kalfin
Ivailo Kalfin nastoupil do nadace Eurofound jako výkonný ředitel 1. června 2021. Odborné znalosti pana Kalfina pokrývají řadu oblastí, od dynamiky trhu práce a sociální politiky až po globální politické trendy, EU a rozpočet, jakož i digitální transformaci. Nastínil pět hlavních priorit své úlohy v nadaci Eurofound: podpora začleňování evropské ekologické a digitální transformace; doplnění provádění akčního plánu pro evropský pilíř sociálních práv výzkumem založeným na důkazech, intenzivnější spolupráce s mezinárodními organizacemi a externími partnery a větší dosah na země evropské politiky sousedství; podpora zvyšování a rozšiřování kapacity sociálních partnerů v působnosti agentury; zviditelnit nadaci Eurofound mezi klíčovými zúčastněnými stranami.

2022 in review
The dawn of 2022 brought muted optimism to a Europe beginning to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, and the progress of vaccination programmes worldwide brought hope. Government and EU support during the pandemic had kept unemployment at bay, averting the widescale collapse of businesses. In step with the EU’s plans for the year, Eurofound’s focus was firmly on a post-pandemic Europe: the recovery and the twin transition to a green and digital economy. All this changed with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the start of a war of aggression. The EU and its institutions were compelled to respond rapidly.

Europe Day: Europe’s future hangs in the balance
Today is Europe Day, and one hundred young people from Ireland and Ukraine will be marking the event at Eurofound, in peaceful south Dublin. Europe Day has traditionally been seen as a celebration of peace and unity in Europe, but, unfortunately, it must be marked differently this year. Europe Day 2022 must rather reaffirm the values of Europe: human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, rule of law and human rights. These values are now being tested daily and must be rigorously defended for the future of Europe and the future of our young people.

We need to study and understand the blow Europe’s youth have suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to adjust recovery and resilience measures to their needs: without prioritising young people in the present, we have little hope for the future.

Maria Jepsen je zástupkyní ředitele nadace Eurofound, která byla jmenována dne 1. listopadu 2019. Koordinuje programový rozvoj agentury. Předtím byla ředitelkou výzkumného oddělení na Evropském odborovém institutu (ETUI) a odbornou asistentkou a výzkumnou pracovnicí na Svobodné univerzitě v Bruselu (ULB). V současné době je také docentkou ekonomie práce na ULB a externí lektorkou na College of Europe v belgických Bruggách. Mezi její hlavní výzkumné zájmy patří genderová studia, vliv sociálního státu na nabídku práce, mzdy a pracovní podmínky a rozvoj evropské sociální dimenze. Paní Jepsen byla členkou různých výborů, rad a poradních výborů na národní i mezinárodní úrovni pro otázky zaměstnanosti, sociální oblasti, rovnosti žen a mužů a výzkumu. Působila také jako koordinátorka v tripartitním poradním výboru Evropské komise pro bezpečnost a ochranu zdraví při práci. Je držitelkou doktorátu z ekonomie a magisterského titulu v oboru ekonometrie ze Svobodné univerzity v Bruselu (ULB).

Anna Ludwinek
Liaison Manager - Brussels Liaison OfficeEurofound
Anna Ludwinek je styčnou manažerkou v bruselské styčné kanceláři nadace Eurofound, kam nastoupila v roce 2019. Její odpovědnost se zaměřuje především na koordinaci práce bruselské kanceláře, včetně vztahů s Evropskou komisí, Evropským parlamentem, Radou a think-tanky. Předtím působila jako výzkumná manažerka v oddělení sociálních politik a byla zodpovědná za práci na mezigenerační sociální mobilitě a rovných příležitostech, nerovnostech mezi mladými lidmi a přístupu k sociálním dávkám. Její dřívější práce v nadaci Eurofound zahrnovala řízení evropské sítě měst pro místní integrační politiky (CLIP), kde se zabývala otázkami týkajícími se rozmanitosti, bydlení, mezikulturních politik a etnického podnikání. Mezi další oblasti výzkumu patřila reintegrace dlouhodobě vyloučených skupin na trh práce a dopad digitalizace na sociální služby. Anna je držitelkou magisterského titulu v oboru politologie na Varšavské univerzitě a bakalářského titulu v oboru mezinárodních vztahů a magisterského titulu v oboru sociálního aplikovaného výzkumu na Trinity College v Dublinu.

Brussels Liaison OfficerEurofound
Robbie Stakelum je styčný úředník pro Brusel, který je odpovědný za Evropský hospodářský a sociální výbor, sociální partnery a Evropskou komisi. Od roku 2014 pracuje v Bruselu se zaměřením na sociální politiku a politiku zaměstnanosti.
