Ivailo Kalfin
Ivailo Kalfin se je Eurofoundu pridružil kot izvršni direktor 1. junija 2021. Njegovo strokovno znanje zajema vrsto področij, od dinamike trga dela in socialne politike do svetovnih političnih trendov, EU in proračuna ter digitalne preobrazbe. Predstavil je pet glavnih prednostnih nalog za svojo vlogo v Eurofoundu: podpiranje vključevanja zelenega in digitalnega prehoda v Evropo; dopolnitev izvajanja akcijskega načrta za evropski steber socialnih pravic z raziskavami, ki temeljijo na dokazih; okrepljeno sodelovanje z mednarodnimi organizacijami in zunanjimi partnerji ter večji stik z državami evropske sosedske politike; podporo krepitvi in širjenju zmogljivosti socialnih partnerjev v pristojnosti agencije; povečanje prepoznavnosti Eurofounda med ključnimi deležniki.

V tej analizi, v kateri so uporabljeni podatki Eurofoundove evropske raziskave o delovnih razmerah za leto 2024 in evropske raziskave o socialnih razmerah, se preučujejo vrzeli v udeležbi v predšolski vzgoji in varstvu ter trdi, da je rešitev v namenski in dobro podprti delovni sili.

2022 in review
The dawn of 2022 brought muted optimism to a Europe beginning to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, and the progress of vaccination programmes worldwide brought hope. Government and EU support during the pandemic had kept unemployment at bay, averting the widescale collapse of businesses. In step with the EU’s plans for the year, Eurofound’s focus was firmly on a post-pandemic Europe: the recovery and the twin transition to a green and digital economy. All this changed with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the start of a war of aggression. The EU and its institutions were compelled to respond rapidly.

Europe Day: Europe’s future hangs in the balance
Today is Europe Day, and one hundred young people from Ireland and Ukraine will be marking the event at Eurofound, in peaceful south Dublin. Europe Day has traditionally been seen as a celebration of peace and unity in Europe, but, unfortunately, it must be marked differently this year. Europe Day 2022 must rather reaffirm the values of Europe: human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, rule of law and human rights. These values are now being tested daily and must be rigorously defended for the future of Europe and the future of our young people.

Recovering from this pandemic means rebuilding hope for the future
We need to study and understand the blow Europe’s youth have suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to adjust recovery and resilience measures to their needs: without prioritising young people in the present, we have little hope for the future.

Maria Jepsen je namestnica direktorja Eurofounda, imenovana 1. novembra 2019. Usklajuje razvoj programa agencije. Pred tem je bila direktorica raziskovalnega oddelka na Evropskem sindikalnem inštitutu (ETUI) ter docentka in raziskovalka na Svobodni univerzi v Bruslju (ULB). Trenutno je tudi izredna profesorica za ekonomijo dela na ULB in zunanja predavateljica na College of Europe v Bruggeju v Belgiji. Njeni glavni raziskovalni interesi vključujejo študije spolov, vpliv socialne države na ponudbo delovne sile, plače in delovne pogoje ter razvoj evropske socialne razsežnosti. Bila je članica različnih odborov, svetov in svetovalnih odborov na nacionalni in mednarodni ravni za vprašanja zaposlovanja, socialnih vprašanj, enakosti spolov in raziskav. Bila je tudi koordinatorka tristranskega svetovalnega odbora Evropske komisije za varnost in zdravje pri delu. Doktorirala je iz ekonomije in magistrirala iz ekonometrije na Svobodni univerzi v Bruslju (ULB).

Anna Ludwinek

Anna Ludwinek je vodja za zvezo v Eurofoundovem uradu za zvezo v Bruslju, ki se mu je pridružila leta 2019. Njene odgovornosti so osredotočene predvsem na usklajevanje dela urada v Bruslju, vključno z odnosi z Evropsko komisijo, Evropskim parlamentom, Svetom in možganskimi trusti. Pred tem je bila Anna vodja raziskav v enoti za socialno politiko, odgovorna za delo na področju medgeneracijske socialne mobilnosti in enakih možnosti, neenakosti mladih in dostopa do socialnih prejemkov. Njeno prejšnje delo pri Eurofoundu je vključevalo upravljanje evropske mreže mest za politike lokalnega vključevanja (CLIP), ki se je ukvarjala z vprašanji raznolikosti, stanovanj, medkulturnih politik in etničnega podjetništva. Druga področja raziskav so vključevala ponovno vključevanje dolgoročno izključenih skupin na trg dela in vpliv digitalizacije na socialne storitve. Anna je magistrirala iz političnih ved na Univerzi v Varšavi ter diplomirala iz mednarodnih odnosov in magistrirala iz družbenih uporabnih raziskav na Trinity College v Dublinu.

Brussels Liaison OfficerEurofound
Robbie Stakelum je uradnik za zvezo v Bruslju, pristojen za Evropski ekonomsko-socialni odbor, socialne partnerje in Evropsko komisijo. Od leta 2014 je zaposlen v Bruslju, kjer se osredotoča na socialno politiko in politiko zaposlovanja.
