Eurofound at 50 Exhibition - dlr Lexicon library, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin
Eurofound at 50 was a free public exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of Eurofound, the only EU agency based in Ireland. This exhibition ran from 20–30 January 2026 at the dlr Lexicon library and cultural centre in Dún Laoghaire, and explored how Eurofound’s research has helped shape social and employment policy in Ireland and across Europe over the past five decades.

The exhibition also highlighted Eurofound's strong links to the Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown community. Through engaging visuals and accessible content, Eurofound at 50 connected local experiences with wider European social and employment issues. The general public, students and anyone interested in work, society, social issues and quality of life in Ireland and the EU were welcomed to the exhibition during library opening hours.
The exhibition officially opened at a reception on 20 January 2026 by Councillor Jim Gildea, Cathaoirleach, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, together with Eurofound’s Executive Director, Ivailo Kalfin. Photos from the opening event can be found below.
