Informal meeting of Employment Committee (EMCO)

The meeting covered a range of topics: ensuring a fair transition towards climate neutrality; national initiatives in Spain for promoting fair, green employment and entrepreneurship; and strengthening social dialogue in the EU.

Eurofound Research Manager Ricardo Rodríguez Contreras contributed expertise and analysis on request from EMCO, presenting on the theme of a fair green transition and the implications for employment relations and working conditions. In recent years, his work has focused on such topics as the involvement of national social partners in social and economic reforms and the role of tripartite social dialogue in supporting the implementation of recovery and resilience plans post-pandemic.
