In times of continual economic and societal change, Eurofound reacts to new and emerging information needs of policymakers. As part of Eurofound’s drive to produce more on-demand studies and services for its main stakeholder groups, reacting to ad-hoc information requests from core stakeholders is a key activity in its work programme.
This work involves the delivery of occasional papers on selected themes in a range of formats:
customised reports
studies replying to stakeholder enquiries
background papers
contributions to publications
own-initiative reports and papers
reports paid for by stakeholders
Customised reports are based either on original analysis of existing Eurofound data sources such as survey data sets, or summaries of previous Eurofound research in a given area. The most recent customised reports can be found below.
Key objectives of this service are to ensure rapidity, flexibility, quality and efficiency in delivering customised input to meet specific needs of Eurofound stakeholders and to provide evidence on unforeseen issues requiring policy action. The provision of a particular request depends on the availability of data.
Requests are welcome from social partner organisations at European and national levels, Member State governments through their Presidencies of the Council of the EU and the EU institutions. A selective approach is taken based on the relevance and policy importance of requests and the resources available.

Deputy DirectorMaria Jepsen è vicedirettrice di Eurofound, nominata il 1° novembre 2019. Coordina lo sviluppo del programma dell'Agenzia. In precedenza, è stata direttrice del dipartimento di ricerca presso l'Istituto sindacale europeo (ETUI) e assistente e ricercatrice presso la Libera Università di Bruxelles (ULB). Attualmente è anche professore associato di economia del lavoro presso l'ULB e docente esterno presso il Collegio d'Europa di Bruges, in Belgio. I suoi principali interessi di ricerca includono gli studi di genere, l'impatto dello stato sociale sull'offerta di lavoro, sui salari e sulle condizioni di lavoro e lo sviluppo della dimensione sociale europea. È stata membro di vari comitati, consigli e comitati consultivi a livello nazionale e internazionale su questioni relative all'occupazione, sociali, di genere e alla ricerca. È stata anche coordinatrice del comitato consultivo tripartito della Commissione europea per la salute e la sicurezza sul lavoro. Ha conseguito un dottorato di ricerca in Economia e un Master in Econometria presso la Libera Università di Bruxelles (ULB).
