Convergence Monitoring Hub
The convergEU is targeted at researchers who wish to perform their own upward convergence analysis.
The web-based tool 'convergEU' permits the analysis of upward convergence for the full set of indicators part of the Social Scoreboard accompanying the European Pillar of Social Rights as well as for a selected set of Eurofound indicators drawn from the European Quality of Life Survey (EQLS) and the European Working Conditions Survey (EWCS). In five easy steps, the web-based tool can create a full upward convergence analysis: it downloads the data from Eurostat website automatically, then includes beta, sigma, delta, and gamma convergence measures as well as other measures to better understand country dynamics in a selected time period. A full indicator report or a country dynamic focus report are produced within 60 seconds. Eleonora Peruffo

Eleonora Peruffo is onderzoeksmedewerker bij de eenheid Sociaal Beleid van Eurofound. Ze werkt aan onderwerpen die verband houden met opwaartse convergentie en sociale cohesie in Europa. In 2021-2022 verzorgde ze data-analyse voor de European Working Conditions Telephone Survey (EWCTS). Ze trad in 2014 in dienst bij Eurofound en heeft gewerkt aan onderwerpen die verband houden met herstructurering, werkgelegenheid en digitalisering. Ze heeft een MA in Diplomatieke Wetenschappen en Internationale Betrekkingen, uitgereikt door de Universiteit van Triëst, en een MSc in Computer Science - Data Analytics van het National College of Ireland.
Michele Consolini

Michele Consolini werkt als onderzoeksmedewerker bij de eenheid Sociaal Beleid van Eurofound. Hij biedt kwantitatieve expertise over verschillende kwesties, waaronder sociale cohesie en vertrouwen, klimaatverandering en levenskwaliteit, convergentie en enquêtebeheer. Zijn huidige onderzoek kijkt naar de rol van polarisatie op sociale cohesie en vertrouwen, en de sociaaleconomische uitdagingen van de transitie naar een koolstofneutrale economie. Hij heeft een BA in Sociologie en Economie van de Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna, Italië, en van de Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, Nederland. Hij voltooide een Research MSc in Politieke Communicatie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam, waar hij ook werkte als onderwijsassistent en onderzoeker op het gebied van politieke psychologie.
