Does Europe have the skills it needs for a changing economy?

Mary McCaughey az Eurofound információs és kommunikációs vezetője. A dublini Trinity College-ban és a bruges-i College of Europe-ban végzett, majd Brüsszelben kezdett dolgozni az Europolitics-nál és a Wall Street Journal Europe-nál. Az ország demokráciába való átmenete során az Európai Parlamenti Képviselők Szövetsége Afrikával (AWEPA) dolgozott Dél-Afrikában, 1998-ban pedig az Európai Unió pretoriai küldöttségének szóvivőjeként dolgozott, és az EU–Dél-Afrika szabadkereskedelmi megállapodásról szóló tárgyalások során a sajtó- és tájékoztatási osztályt vezette. A koszovói háború befejezése után kommunikációs tanácsadóként dolgozott az Európai Újjáépítési Ügynökségnél Szerbiában. 2003-ban foglalta el az Eurofound főszerkesztői posztját.

Tina Weber is a senior research manager in Eurofound’s Working Life unit. Her work has focused on labour shortages, the impact of hybrid work and an ‘always on’ culture and the right to disconnect, working conditions and social protection measures for self-employed workers and the impact of the twin transitions on employment, working conditions and industrial relations. She is responsible for studies assessing the representativeness of European social partner organisations. She has also carried out research on European Works Councils and the evolution of industrial relations and social dialogue in the European Union. Prior to joining Eurofound in 2019, she worked for a private research institute primarily carrying out impact assessments and evaluations of EU labour law and labour market policies. Tina holds a PhD in Political Sciences from the University of Edinburgh which focussed on the role of national trade unions and employers’ organisations in the European social dialogue.

Gijs van Houten az Eurofound foglalkoztatási osztályának vezető kutatási vezetője. Speciális szakértelemmel rendelkezik a nemzetközi felmérések módszertanában, valamint a munkahelyi gyakorlatok és szervezeti stratégiák elemzésében. Mielőtt 2010-ben csatlakozott az Eurofoundhoz, a Holland Társadalomkutató Intézetben (SCP) dolgozott. Gijs 2016-ban egy évet töltött távol, a washingtoni Pew Research Centerben dolgozott. A nijmegeni Radboud Egyetemen szerzett szociológia mesterdiplomát, az Utrechti Egyetemen pedig társadalomtudományi doktori fokozatot.
