Desmit gadus zems atalgojums: sociālo dienestu darbinieki joprojām pelna aptuveni piekto daļu mazāk nekā vidēji
10 gadu laikā no 2014. līdz 2024. gadam sociālo pakalpojumu darbinieku skaits ES palielinājās no 8 miljoniem līdz 10 miljoniem. Tagad viņi veido 5 % no kopējā ES darbaspēka. Tajā pašā laikā nozare saskaras ar darbaspēka trūkumu, un to joprojām raksturo zems atalgojums – aptuveni par 20 % mazāks nekā vidējais atalgojums dalībvalstu ekonomikā kopumā.
