Ivailo Kalfin
Ivailo Kalfin nastúpil do nadácie Eurofound ako výkonný riaditeľ 1. júna 2021. Odborné znalosti pána Kalfina pokrývajú celý rad oblastí, od dynamiky trhu práce a sociálnej politiky až po globálne politické trendy, EÚ a rozpočet, ako aj digitálnu transformáciu. Načrtol päť hlavných priorít svojej úlohy v nadácii Eurofound: podpora začleňovania zelenej a digitálnej transformácie Európy; doplnenie vykonávania akčného plánu na realizáciu Európskeho piliera sociálnych práv výskumom založeným na dôkazoch, intenzívnejšia spolupráca s medzinárodnými organizáciami a externými partnermi a väčší dosah na krajiny európskej susedskej politiky; podpora posilnenia a rozšírenia kapacít sociálnych partnerov v rámci pôsobnosti agentúry; zviditeľnenie nadácie Eurofound medzi kľúčovými zainteresovanými stranami.

V tejto analýze, v ktorej sa využívajú údaje z európskeho prieskumu pracovných podmienok nadácie Eurofound z roku 2024 a z iniciatívy EU SILC, sa skúmajú rozdiely v účasti na vzdelávaní a starostlivosti v ranom detstve a tvrdí sa, že riešenie spočíva v špecializovanej a dobre podporovanej pracovnej sile.

2022 in review
The dawn of 2022 brought muted optimism to a Europe beginning to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, and the progress of vaccination programmes worldwide brought hope. Government and EU support during the pandemic had kept unemployment at bay, averting the widescale collapse of businesses. In step with the EU’s plans for the year, Eurofound’s focus was firmly on a post-pandemic Europe: the recovery and the twin transition to a green and digital economy. All this changed with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the start of a war of aggression. The EU and its institutions were compelled to respond rapidly.

Europe Day: Europe’s future hangs in the balance
Today is Europe Day, and one hundred young people from Ireland and Ukraine will be marking the event at Eurofound, in peaceful south Dublin. Europe Day has traditionally been seen as a celebration of peace and unity in Europe, but, unfortunately, it must be marked differently this year. Europe Day 2022 must rather reaffirm the values of Europe: human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, rule of law and human rights. These values are now being tested daily and must be rigorously defended for the future of Europe and the future of our young people.

Recovering from this pandemic means rebuilding hope for the future
We need to study and understand the blow Europe’s youth have suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to adjust recovery and resilience measures to their needs: without prioritising young people in the present, we have little hope for the future.

Maria Jepsen je zástupkyňou riaditeľa nadácie Eurofound, ktorá bola vymenovaná 1. novembra 2019. Koordinuje rozvoj programu agentúry. Predtým bola riaditeľkou výskumného oddelenia v Európskom inštitúte odborových zväzov (ETUI) a odbornou asistentkou a výskumnou pracovníčkou na Slobodnej univerzite v Bruseli (ULB). V súčasnosti je tiež docentkou ekonomiky práce na ULB a externou lektorkou na College of Europe v belgických Bruggách. Medzi jej hlavné výskumné záujmy patria rodové štúdie, vplyv sociálneho štátu na ponuku práce, mzdy a pracovné podmienky a rozvoj európskeho sociálneho rozmeru. Pani Jepsen bola členkou rôznych výborov, rád a poradných rád na vnútroštátnej a medzinárodnej úrovni pre otázky zamestnanosti, sociálnej oblasti, rodovej rovnosti a výskumu. Pôsobila aj ako koordinátorka tripartitného poradného výboru Európskej komisie pre bezpečnosť a ochranu zdravia pri práci. Je držiteľkou doktorátu z ekonómie a magisterského titulu z ekonometrie na Slobodnej univerzite v Bruseli (ULB).

Anna Ludwinek

Anna Ludwinek je styčnou manažérkou v bruselskej styčnej kancelárii nadácie Eurofound, do ktorej nastúpila v roku 2019. Jej povinnosti sa zameriavajú predovšetkým na koordináciu práce bruselskej kancelárie vrátane vzťahov s Európskou komisiou, Európskym parlamentom, Radou a think-tankmi. Predtým bola Anna manažérkou výskumu v oddelení sociálnych politík so zodpovednosťou za prácu v oblasti medzigeneračnej sociálnej mobility a rovnakých príležitostí, nerovností mládeže a prístupu k sociálnym dávkam. Jej predchádzajúca práca v nadácii Eurofound zahŕňala riadenie európskej siete miest pre miestne integračné politiky (CLIP), ktorá sa zaoberala otázkami rozmanitosti, bývania, medzikultúrnych politík a etnického podnikania. Medzi ďalšie oblasti výskumu patrilo opätovné začlenenie dlhodobo vylúčených skupín do trhu práce a vplyv digitalizácie na sociálne služby. Anna je držiteľkou magisterského titulu z politológie na Varšavskej univerzite a bakalárskeho titulu z medzinárodných vzťahov a magisterského titulu zo sociálneho aplikovaného výskumu na Trinity College v Dubline.

Robbie Stakelum je styčný dôstojník pre Brusel zodpovedný za Európsky hospodársky a sociálny výbor, sociálnych partnerov a Európsku komisiu. Od roku 2014 pracuje v Bruseli so zameraním na sociálnu politiku a politiku zamestnanosti.
