Ivailo Kalfin
Ivailo Kalfin s-a alăturat Eurofound în calitate de director executiv la 1 iunie 2021. Expertiza dlui Kalfin acoperă o serie de domenii, de la dinamica pieței muncii și a politicii sociale la tendințele politice globale, UE și buget, precum și transformarea digitală. El a subliniat cinci priorități principale pentru rolul său la Eurofound: sprijinirea integrării tranziției verzi și digitale a Europei; completarea punerii în aplicare a Planului de acțiune privind Pilonul european al drepturilor sociale cu cercetări bazate pe dovezi; o cooperare sporită cu organizațiile internaționale și partenerii externi și o mai mare comunicare a țărilor care fac obiectul politicii europene de vecinătate; sprijin pentru consolidarea și extinderea capacității partenerilor sociali în cadrul competențelor agenției; creșterea profilului Eurofound în rândul principalelor părți interesate.

2022 in review
The dawn of 2022 brought muted optimism to a Europe beginning to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, and the progress of vaccination programmes worldwide brought hope. Government and EU support during the pandemic had kept unemployment at bay, averting the widescale collapse of businesses. In step with the EU’s plans for the year, Eurofound’s focus was firmly on a post-pandemic Europe: the recovery and the twin transition to a green and digital economy. All this changed with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the start of a war of aggression. The EU and its institutions were compelled to respond rapidly.

Europe Day: Europe’s future hangs in the balance
Today is Europe Day, and one hundred young people from Ireland and Ukraine will be marking the event at Eurofound, in peaceful south Dublin. Europe Day has traditionally been seen as a celebration of peace and unity in Europe, but, unfortunately, it must be marked differently this year. Europe Day 2022 must rather reaffirm the values of Europe: human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, rule of law and human rights. These values are now being tested daily and must be rigorously defended for the future of Europe and the future of our young people.

We need to study and understand the blow Europe’s youth have suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to adjust recovery and resilience measures to their needs: without prioritising young people in the present, we have little hope for the future.

Maria Jepsen este directorul adjunct al Eurofound, numit la 1 noiembrie 2019. Ea coordonează dezvoltarea programelor agenției. Înainte de aceasta, a fost director al departamentului de cercetare al Institutului European al Sindicatelor (ETUI) și profesor asistent și cercetător la Universitatea Liberă din Bruxelles (ULB). În prezent este, de asemenea, profesor asociat în economia muncii la ULB și lector extern la Colegiul Europei din Bruges, Belgia. Principalele sale interese de cercetare includ studiile de gen, impactul statelor sociale asupra ofertei de forță de muncă, salariilor și condițiilor de muncă și dezvoltarea dimensiunii sociale europene. Dna Jepsen a fost membră a diferitelor comitete, consilii și consilii consultative la nivel național și internațional pe probleme de ocupare a forței de muncă, sociale, de gen și de cercetare. Anna Ludwinek

Anna Ludwinek este manager de legătură la Biroul de legătură al Eurofound din Bruxelles, la care s-a alăturat în 2019. Responsabilitățile sale se concentrează în primul rând pe coordonarea activității biroului de la Bruxelles, inclusiv relația cu Comisia Europeană, Parlamentul European, Consiliul și grupurile de reflecție.
